Thank you for your answer saying that KMU can't be used on the 9160 for PSA Crypto. We will find another place to store keys.

You should take a look at the PSA Crypto spec, your code snippet generates a volatile key so it definitely won't be stored anywhere.

Yes, lifetime is important and must be set correctly.

Edit; we don't have support for keys stored in the KMU using PSA Crypto on 91-series.
