&lt;p&gt;The nRF52840 QSPI peripheral is setup in hardware to target NOR based flash devices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Using it for other types of memory will be problematic.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Its very picky about command and communication structure (most of which is hard wired).&lt;/p&gt;
