While your issue has the same symptons, this can have different causes, and it could require quite individual debugging.

Hello, I am having similar issues on the nrf52840 qiaa platform. I recently field upgraded my firmware and have been unable to update any of my devices over serial (over rs422 using AuTerm) since. Currently trying to resolve issue without flash over jtag. the new image seems to be rejected and only stays in secondary slot. None of the configurations have been updated. looking to get some support on debug, can supply more information.

I will continue to help with this ticket.

Do you have any logs from the nRF54L15 itself? For example UART logs.

Usually the logs from MCUboot gives a good indication on why an update gets rejected.

Hi Hung Bui thanks for your response. Basically after performing image upload using device manager app, image on slot 1 never get swapped with slot 0. It just stays at slot 1. I tried with both test & confirm as well as just confirm options but same issue. I did follow the guide but no luck. Kindly please verify my above attached project configurations and static partitions. FYI I’m storing image in internal flash even though I do have external flash on my custom board but I’m using for other purposes. Thanks

Please describe a little bit more on how you do the test. Which device do you use to send the image.

What exactly happen after the device receive the image and then reset ?

How do you expect the new image to be confirmed ? Normally you would need to send a command to confirm the image to get the image permanently replaced otherwise if it's only in test mode it will be reverted back.
