Hi Colin,

We think we might have found the root cause. Could you try edit this to set this if condition to if (1) so that nfct_frame_delay_max_set(true); is executed when using with nRF54.

Just a quick update, we have reproduced the issue here and reported to the team. I will keep you updated when we find a solution.

The default application still runs when it occurs but does not have any log data. I did try to make a build with more logging enabled and found that after the read, the field detect callback only sees 'FIELD OFF' after this occurs. I have tested it with a Google Pixel and a iPhone without this issue.

Sorry for the late response.
Do you have any log on the device when the NFC froze ? Did the application still operate normal when the issue happen ?

Have you tested on other phone ? I just want to make sure the issue is not just with one particular phone
