I am using sysbuild to build MCUboot and application images. Following are relevant Kconfig options:
mcuboot.conf

CONFIG_MAIN_STACK_SIZE =10240

CONFIG_DISABLE_FLASH_PATCH =y
CONFIG_RETENTION =y
CONFIG_RETAINED_MEM

RE: External flash getting corrupted after MCU reboot

Hello,

It works now.

RE: External flash getting corrupted after MCU reboot

I have noticed that immediately after MCU reset flash CS pin is pulled low 3 times with approx. 1us pulse length. And CLK is also toggled a few times. This happens BEFORE mcuboot main() function is entered, so it must be done in the kernel.
