I'm referring to this post below

Based on the response above, it looks like IAR + NCS SDK is not supported by Nordic . Is that the official response from Nordic ?
We are working on a medical device and have chosen nrf54l15 as our SoC, and

RE: Regarding IAR compiler support with NCS SDK

Hi,

Would appreciate your feedback on the above questions. That will help us make an informed decision.

RE: Regarding IAR compiler support with NCS SDK

Thanks for the prompt response. Although it puts us in a spot.

Couple of follow up questions

1) Is there a plan for NCS support for IAR - any timelines ?

2) Assuming we want to stick to nrf54l15 and use IAR, do we have any alternatives ? Looks like IAR + upstream Zephyr + nrf54l15 is officially supported. Is it possible to port our BLE application that currently uses NCS SDK to upstream Zephyr. Can you please provide some guidance for this ?

RE: Regarding IAR compiler support with NCS SDK

Hi,

IAR is not supported, as per the reply of my colleague:
