As mentioned in the comments, converting to the SDK 11 version of the esb i recommended. This includes all the source files, not a library file like before. The SDK 11 esb is based on the micro-esb on github.

The symptoms you describe can indicate that the sender expects an ACK, but does not get one. It should not retransmit 90 times if it is configured to send 3 times though.

I think you could just move to microesb from new SDK, you don't have to change your whole project. I am not sure but i think you got something wrong with your configuration - i remember i had similar issues and i managed to solve them with configuration. unfortunately don't remember how. Probably something with ACKing. Also, there is full source code of microesb, so it is not that hard to check the problematic transmission with debugger...

@wojtek I enabled re transmission just in case if packet is lost but that is for 3 times. we recently migrated to sdk v8.1.0. so we are currently using sdk v8.1.0. I didnt check with sdk v11

Also, it would be nice if you check if error still exist in newest release of SDK (11). You sure you have retransmission disabled?

You should contact support directly if it is very urgent, and also I suggest filing an issue on the github page for micro-esb. I have not personally experienced this bug, so you should provide more information. Also, what softdevice? And is SD necessary for ESB?
