The device tree describes what needs to be in place software-wise (drivers etc.) that should be in place considering what we are expecting to have connected there. Not what is physically connected.

Where are you seeing this "nothing is connected" message?

I've run this example: https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/samples/drivers/uart/echo_bot/README.html but my board is not detected as com port on windows and only on linux it works :/ but one thing bother me a lot why on device tree to &uart0 Node says: `nothing is connected` it means software is not connected? I wonder cause I've two board connected like this one:

Then we know atleast that you have the right boardfiles. Does basic UART samples work as well? I assume the issue is related to something related to configuration. The devacademy course on UART might be a good resource for this.

Just to clarify I made first version as simple POC in arduino IDE but right I struggle with rewroting it to Zephyr with Nordic SDK. Changing baud rate didn't help

Hi,

Not sure if I am understanding you correctly here, though we mainly support the official west/NCS toolchain here. I see that the Xiao NRF52840 is supposed to also support arduino, though this is something that we wont't be able to support well here on devzone. Although if you are using prj.conf files and dts files, I guess you are not really using the arduino toolchain?

The response below looks to be from some bot which I was just about to delete, but it might be something to suggestion of making sure the baudrates are right.
