&lt;p&gt;Based on table 6 in the datasheet (&lt;a href="https://no.mouser.com/datasheet/3/564/1/SKY66112_11_203225P.pdf"&gt;https://no.mouser.com/datasheet/3/564/1/SKY66112_11_203225P.pdf&lt;/a&gt;), the FEM should already be in all off mode between RADIO transactions. If you are using the radio while battery powered you still need to enable the FEM on RX and TX, but you can assert the CPS signal to use the bypass mode to reduce the peak currents.&lt;/p&gt;
