&lt;p&gt;It does not require re-profiling of your batteries. The new firmware is backwards compatilbe with the Fuel-Gauge 2 libraries. From that page, you can also request Beta release access, if you want to test the new features.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So no re-testing is required. This can all be part of a DFU in the feature, if you need to go to production before these new features are ready.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
