&lt;p&gt;In NCS 3.3.0 and older partition manager is required for Matter projects.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I am not mistaken, there&amp;#39;s some support to disable PM in Matter projects in NCS 3.4.0-rc1&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/tree/v3.4.0-rc1"&gt;https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/tree/v3.4.0-rc1&lt;/a&gt;. You can check out that release candidate branch and evaluate the solution there.&lt;/p&gt;
