&lt;p&gt;I made an example some time ago that caused a button press to trigger a led to toggle using ppi:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://github.com/kemegard/generic_gppi"&gt;https://github.com/kemegard/generic_gppi&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Maybe you can start with that, but change the button press to a timer compare event instead.&lt;/p&gt;
