But there isn't reset button in dongle. Because the nrf52820 is too small I think. So how can I do and which pin I have to select to reset? Tell me about method in more detail. williamhoyle68@gmail

RE: Firmware recovering method using reset pin of nrf52820

Hello,

While we do have an nRF52820 chip, we don't have an nRF52820 dongle. So I suspect that you need to contact the manufacturer of this dongle (which is not us, unfortunately), to see if it is possible to recover the FW from the dongle.

From the nRF52820's perspective, it is correct what Turbo J says. You would need to connect VCC/VDD, GND, SWDIO and SWDCLK in order to read out the FW. But it is not clear what you really want to do. If you have programmed the dongle with custom FW, then perhaps you have done this via some bootloader. If that is the case, then perhaps you want to put it in bootloader mode again, and for that, you need to check with the manufacturer of the dongle, or the documentation of the dongle (from the manufacturer).

Best regards,

One can (try to) read firmware or recover flash (which means erasing it) - your sentence is a mixture of both and thus very easy to misunderstand. That AI translation?

You would probably need VCC, GND, the SWD lines and RESET.
