&lt;p&gt;Yes, you can create custom control points by using authorization, see the documentation here for more information:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Since authorization gives you complete control over the response code and the data you reply with, this allows you to implement complex protocols over ATT, such as control point-type attributes.&lt;/p&gt;
