Hi,

Just an update on this from the team. It seems that you might need a development key. Can you please try the following in Edge Impulse Studio?:
Tap "Add new API key" and while adding a new API key, try enabling the "Development Key" checkbox.

I have just tried to use the nRF Edge Impulse App with a new Thingy:53 and iPhone and I am getting the same error as well. I have reported this issue internally and will get back to you soon with an update on this.

Hello,

Can you please confirm whether you are using a brand new Thingy:53 or if it has been flashed with some other firmware? If you are using a brand new one, then it should work directly with both Edge Impulse Studio and the mobile app. But if you have flashed another firmware on it, then you need to download the latest Edge Impulse firmware. Please see the instructions given here in "Updating the firmware" :

Have you tried these steps before connecting to the nRF Edge Impulse mobile application?
