Glad to hear you've resolved the issue. The keyboards seem to use more reports than the mouse samples, so it exceeded the max number of supported HOGP reports on the Dongle, resulting in this freeze.

The issue has been resolved. Nordic AI told me to set CONFIG_BT_HOGP_REPORTS_MAX to 24, and after making the change and flashing the device, there were no further problems. I'm not entirely sure why this worked, though.

From the log you shared here, where in the log does the Dongle freeze exactly? Is it at the end of the log message here, because it seems to not do discovery at all, so that's likely where it freezes.

You could try enable more debug logging with adding the following configs:

CONFIG_LOG=y
CONFIG_BT_LOG_LEVEL_DBG=y
CONFIG_DEBUG_OPTIMIZATIONS=y
CONFIG_DEBUG_THREAD_INFO=y
