I am just evaluating the nrF5340 for an audio bluetooth project. I am trying to find out if the nrf5340 can receive bluetooth audio (classic or LE) from one device and transfer it to i2s out, at the same time as receiving i2s input and transmitting

RE: Dual mode on nrf5340 - Receive Bluetooth classic/LE->12s, simultaneous with i2s->unicast to different device

Hi Joe,

Our Bluetooth LE Audio implementation for the nRF5340 supports bidirectional CIS (Connected Isochronous Streams), and we have implementations for I2S source and sink in the application as well. We do not support Bluetooth Classic.

Please refer to our reference application for LE Audio here: https://nrfconnectdocs.nordicsemi.com/ncs/3.4.0/nrf/applications/nrf_audio/index.html, and specifically the Unicast client, Unicast server, and the application configuration pages.
Secondly I know there has been discussion previously about slave mode not working for i2s on the part (due to drift compensation) - is this still the case, or has there been any update on this?
We still have the requirement for the nRF5340 to be the I2S slave.

Please let me know if anything is unclear or if you have any follow-up questions.

Best regards,
