&lt;p&gt;Could you try to remove the resistors that you have used?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For eg, for LED0, please remove the 750 Ohm series resistor and connect the line directly to the nPM1300&amp;#39;s VSYS raile, instead of 5V supply.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please try this and let me know how it goes?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have confirmed that GPIO4&amp;#39;s high/low output is possible using another command.&lt;br /&gt;I checked the SCL/SDA voltage waveforms, and since Ack is being returned, I believe there is no problem with the I2C line.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Are you sure that you have active communication with the nPM1300, can you read/write other registers and verify those operations?&lt;/p&gt;
