nrfutil is a replacement for nrfjprog. I have previously relied on pynrfjprog for automated testing and programming. This test procedure uses RTT shell to send test commands to the DUT and receive answers back, However, (py)nrfjprog

RE: How to read/write RTT using nrfutil

Hi Fridtjof,

nRF Util does not currently support RTT, unfortunately. For scripted testing i would recommend pylink-square, which is a SEGGER's python wrapper for the J-link library. It gives you rtt_start(), rtt_read() and rtt_write(), which is the closest replacement for what you had.

Regards,
