Try disabling any optimization options. Force -O0 optimization level.

Yes! I can start to trace code step by step. However, the execute flow seems not follow my design flow. for example, it always executed in the function of nrfdrv_twi_int() becuse its disassemble is BL nrdrv_twi_init(). Is any settings should be checked?

Try to enable "Generate debug information" in "Options->C/C++ Compiler->Output".

Hi all: I cannot trace code step by step now by enable the option to generate debug information in output file. However, it seems the flow is not follow the flow of the design. Is any setting needed be revised?

Hi, What works for me if IAR disables setting break points when entering debug mode, is in the *.ewp file, ensure CCDebugInfo is set to 1

Please Post A Screenshot Of Your Project Settings Window . Check If Ur Flashing A Debug Version Or Release Version .
