&lt;p&gt;We do not support IEC 61508. All our libraries are considered as SOUP &lt;span&gt;(software of unknown pedigree/provenance)&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, as this &lt;a href="https://nrfconnectdocs.nordicsemi.com/ncs/latest/zephyr/safety/safety_overview.html#general-safety-scope"&gt;link &lt;/a&gt;describes, the zephyr project has &lt;i&gt;something&lt;/i&gt; on it. We try to align our&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;NCS v3.4.x &lt;/span&gt; LTS release to use zephyr LTS, making it easier for the customer to atleast try to inherit/use whatever zephyr project has on this matter.&lt;/p&gt;
