That depends what you want to use them for. These specific step files are for an outdated revision of the nRF52832 Development Kit. As mentioned in this thread, you can download the hardware files (for whatever kit you are interested in) from nordicsemi.com and export the PCBA as a STEP file using Altium Designer.

This is a really old case, luckily I was the original poster and now work for Nordic, so I got a notification about your reply and can help you out.

I generally suggest creating a new case if you have questions like these, then you'll get a swift reply.

To answer your question: The PDK files are very old at this moment and there are a lot newer revisions of the proper nRF52840 Development Kit.

Let me know what version of the nRF52840 Development Kit you have and I can generate STEP-files for you.

It does not look like it is possible to export the complete file with silkscreen and traces in Altium, see here. If you have access to altium you can try to export to different file types to see if you get a better result, but I would guess this will be time consuming.

Thank you very much. I managed to import the file in Solidworks, but it seems I am missing the drawings on the PCB, would you perhaps know what file I am missing, or what I can do to include it? Here are pictures to show what I mean: DK without drawings on PCB DK with drawings on PCB

Here is a link for the nRF52 DK hardware files (from the download tab at the nRF52 DK product page). The 3D pictures are from altium. You can export this (file->export). Here is a 3D model of PCA10040:
