The documentation for the Nordic MCP servier describes that itself, but not general aspects of various AI services, including Claude. (It is difficult to provide detailed step by step guides for all possible combinations of AI tools and vendors)

As you want to use Claude code, you need to have that installed and working frist, and when used via VS code that also means that you need to install the Calude code VS code extension yes.

In addition, to use the claude command line command you need to install the command line tool (which is a separate install). That is decribed in more detail in the Claude documentation here. Then you can use the suggested command in your terminal, for Windows cmd shell should work. For more details you can refer tot he Claude documentation on connecting to MCP servers.
