Initially, I can send and receive AT commands. But after sending the power-down commands
sequence from "Getting Started with nRF93M1 DK v0.4"

I could not receive any response from AT commands. I tried power-cycling
the DK and toggling

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

Good to know it worked. Actually baud rate had to be changed before %PMUCFG (v1.5.0), and if we misses it then UART at higher baud rates was unable to wake the module from deep sleep and recovery was needed. Thanks and feel free to reach out if anything comes up.

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

I tried to spam AT%FACTORYRESET multiple times on multiple power cycles. And now, the modem is responding.
Thanks for trying it out. We had a discussion internally and our team suggest you to spam AT+IPR=9600 at UART now at boot to have low-power baudrate or AT%FACTORYRESET to clear NVM settings.

As the issue is Baudratre has to be changed before %PMUCFG (power-down commands).

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

I tried flashing modem_bypass but still could not receive response. I checked that the current on NRF93M1 is 4.6uA. I think the modem is on sleep mode.

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

Okay, thanks for letting us know. I would ask if you can try re flashing the modem_bypass.

I can unable to reproduce your exact case so cannot confirm if it fixes but it surely looks a reasonable step to try.

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

Thank you. I could not remeber if I encountered an error after AT%MUCFG=1,4. The STATUS LED is green and NETWORK LED is blue all the time.

Thanks for trying it out.

Actually I tired the sequence without AT+IPR=9600 but in end AT%MUCFG=1,4 gets Error and AT commands works afterwards as well.

Can you tell if your AT%MUCFG=1,4 was executed without error and also does your STATUS LED is green and NETWORK LED is blue only at boot or it remain like this.

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

Thanks for answering. I haven't executed AT+IPR=9600 before the power-down sequence. I tried holding down POWERKEY (BUTTON1) button for few seconds but still no response from modem. When the modem boots-up, the STATUS LED is green and NETWORK LED is blue. SIM Card is inserted on the dk.

RE: NRF93M1 DK not responding to AT commands

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. First of all can you confirm if you executed AT+IPR=9600 command before this sequence?

And to make the DK return back to system ON, can you try to press and hold the POWERKEY (BUTTON1) button for few seconds. Do let me know if it works.
