Hello.

When porting RTX from nRF51 to nRF52, the RTX was no longer stable together with a softdevice. This is because of architectural differences between the two. The support was removed until we have restructured the nRF52 RTX port from the ground up, using a new form of critical sections and tickless idle handling.

As RK pointed out, it has nothing to do with CMSIS.

Whatever it has to do with it's got nothing to do with CMSIS. Nordic only removed support for the CMSIS packs, the way of distributing bits of the toolset, they didn't do away with support for CMSIS, the common abstraction layer for ARM.

Does this have to do with Nordic removing CMSIS support maybe?

I'm also investigating using RTX with an nRF52 and softdevice, so I'd also like to know.
