&lt;p&gt;However, it is possible to create custom NDEF record that can be used to pass the MAC address of peripheral to a central. Please see &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v11.0.0/nfc_ndef_message_module_dox.html?cp=6_0_0_3_18_1_1_4"&gt;this&lt;/a&gt; Infocenter page on how to create custom NDEF records.&lt;/p&gt;
