&lt;p&gt;The normal output on VDD_PA is 1.6V. So it&amp;#39;s not recommended to over-voltage on C3 (that will over-voltage ANT pins). Furthermore, VDD_PA is only active when the radio is active. This way, the chip can saves power consumption.
