The <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51822-Bluetooth-Smart-Beacon-Kit/nRF51822-BK-FW/29888">Beacon kit firmware</a> is however connectable beacon, where you can connect to it e.g. via nrf beacon app and modify major value, minor value, RSSI, etc.</p> <p>The beacon kit firmware functionality is explained somewhat on <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/question/76009/nordic-nrf51822-beacon-kit-modify-beacon-properties-not-working/">this thread</a>.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
