This question is a couple of months old, but having run the gauntlet of trying to setup a development environment on my Mac I decided to write a tutorial on it: I don't have instructions for an IDE, because I haven't found a suitable FOSS IDE that will do the job well - so I stick with command line tools for the time being - and Atom/Sublime Text.

What about for commercial use. SES says only non-commercial use.

Yes having tried a few different IDEs from Kiel and Eclipse through to Segger Embedded Studio, definitely check out SES. Super quick to get up and running, functionality that is pretty powerful without being super confusing like Eclipse. You won't regret it - RJH

There is a better way - use Segger Embedded Studio. Everything described here.
