@HungBui it's now working Hung, I copied my code to your sdk example and it's now working, I don't know even what the reason for that, now I have another problem in the DFU service, I know this is another question and I'll post it in another thread

I don't really understand your last message. I would prefer that you explain with bullet points. Also the steps you used to test.

Also please provide the sniffer trace. With that we can find what could be wrong with the device.

What I understand was that you want to send a notification back to the phone by using a server on the nRF5, and this is not by ANCS spec, and is your proprietary implementation ?

@Hungbui I used my code instead of the example ANCS main code, it works fine but when I'm using it in my project it fails & even the ancs example. I my code now is similar to ancs and with no change in services or so.

Please capture a sniffer trace, Mohamed. Also please debug and look for the disconnect reason when DISCONNECTED event occurs.

@hungbui it's not the assert function, the android is connecting correctly without any problem but for IOS, after connecting, it disconnects imediately, let me explaing something: for android it doesn't discover the ANCS and work well, for IOS at the first time it connects it discover ANCS and cause no problem, when I receive a notification from whatsapp for example it disconnects and never connect again to that device, connecting, say connected, pair again and immediately disconnects !!! I don't know what's the problem

@Mohamed: please take a sniffer trace, it would be easier to understand what happened. You need to make sure the nRF5 chip didn't reset or assert, please add a break point in the assert handler. I suspect there was an error and the chip reset by the assert handler and that's why you get timed out.

@hungbui I found the same problem and when I removed ancs service from the firmware, it disappeared .. I'm testing with nrf connect the updated version of your tool & sdk 10

@Hungbui , I tested with the nrf master control panel & got the same behaviour, when I get a notification from facebook for example, I need to print that I got a notifaction on the mobile app, that's why I put another server for that, getting the data from apple notifiaction service & send them to mobile as a new notification, I got that error : "The connection has timed out unexpectedly" in light blue & the same manner from nrf master control panel

Hi Mohamed,

Please explain what exactly you are doing with your modification. What does that mean by "back the notification again to the mobile" ? Note that you need a GATT server and add a service and characteristic to be able to send a notification, and you need an app on the phone to subscribe to that characteristic. Think of 2 separate profile. I suggest to test with nRF Master Control Panel on iOS instead of LightBlue and take a screenshot.

@HungBui, I tested with your example & with a previous version of my device but my app is a bit difference than your application,I'm trying to back the notification again to the mobile using another service as shown in the attached part of code, so when there is any notification from any application, it disconnects with the shown message "dismiss connection is stale" lightblue is need for analysis the received notification from the DK to mobile :)

Have you tested with our ANCS example ? Which issue you get with that example ? I don't understand why you need Lightblue here.
