I want to get the time zone in addition to the year, month, day, hour, minute, second, but I can&amp;#39;t find a timezone in day_date_time_t.

This means you will have to implement the optional characteristic if you need this. Looking at the spec, the Local Time Information is only optional so Nordic are compliant with the spec as you would imagine.  But if the service is on the phone, can you not read the characteristic?
