Downgrading the firmware to v5.10d fixed the situation, thanks a lot.

(For other readers: You replace firmware by right clicking the segger device)

Hi Hakki,

I just got to know that Segger Jlink driver from v5.10n will break the support for nRF51 revision2 (which is on your PCA10000/1 board). And I saw the same symptom on my setup here where the console can show some data but not in wireshark.

The fix is to roll back the JLink firmware on the board. The tool to do it is J-Link Configurator. So you would need to download and install earlier version of Jlink, suggest v5.10d (as it worked for me) and then use the Jlink Configurator tool in that installation, and click Replace Firmware (not update firmware). After that the board should work.

Please try and let me know if it work.

Have you installed the Nordic Plugin ? Yes Do you have Wireshark in the default folder/path ? Yes Could you test with a device advertising in low interval. - I did but it does not help. Let me remind you that when I try the very same setup with a pca10028 everything works perfectly.

Hi Hakki,

The screenshot showed the advertising packets are captured as you can see the entries in devices available.

So the issue here is the streaming of data from the sniffer console to wireshark.

Have you installed the Nordic Plugin ? Do you have Wireshark in the default folder/path ? Could you test with a device advertising in low interval. From the screenshot seems that you have 3 beacons ?

By the way, when I had received pca10001 and pca10000, more than a year ago, I had tested the sniffer app and it had worked, same pc, same os. But many Nordic updates have been released in between, and I do not remember which version combination was successful.

It should work. When you say no packets. Do you mean in the sniffer software or in wireshark? Could you take a screenshot?

Label on PCA10001: V2.2.0 2014.10 Label on PCA10000 is lost on both the chip is QFAAG00
