I've built a device using an IMUduino board, which is supposed to be similar to Arduino Leonardo board with a nRF8001 bluetooth. I was able to connect my device to an Android phone using the nRF UART v2.0 app, I tested some examples and it worked

RE: Cannot connect device with nRF8001 to Windows 10 PC

Does is not work on nRF52, then??

RE: Cannot connect device with nRF8001 to Windows 10 PC

@awneil is correct, to use the Nordic Master Control Panel, you need to use an nRF51-Dongle or nRF51-DK.
The nRF52-DK is not currently supported as of 18-May-2016, no plans exist for it yet. The newer nRF Connect PC tool will support the nRF52-DK

RE: Cannot connect device with nRF8001 to Windows 10 PC

Is, " you must use a Nordic dongle or dev kit!" not clear?
