@awneil is correct, to use the Nordic Master Control Panel, you need to use an nRF51-Dongle or nRF51-DK. The nRF52-DK is not currently supported as of 18-May-2016, no plans exist for it yet. The newer nRF Connect PC tool will support the nRF52-DK

I am able to pair the BLE device with Windows 10 through built-in UI using a BT 4.0 dongle, the problem is when paired, I cannot get echo from the device. Master Control Panel is not even detecting it. Does the dongle need to be Nordic?

As noted, the Nordic Master Control Panel does not work with the PC's built-in bluetooth - you must use a Nordic dongle or dev kit!

The "Master emulator" is an application which runs on the Nordic dongle or dev kit - so it won't be found if you don't have one!

Can you try using the BTLE Scanner app, to connect to the nRF8001 board ? https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/store/apps/BLE-Scanner/9NBLGGH0J7M0

I have not tested it on a Win 10 PC.

I have not tried it but you can give it a try.

I have this driver and the SDK. And I'm able to pair PC-UART using BLE Functions for Windows 10, but then no Master emulator is found in the Nordic Master Control Panel.

What do you mean by, "the driver of the nRF8001"?

Note that the MCP only works with Nordic's Dongle or DevKits - it doesn't work with the PC's own Bluetooth.

Does the PC have BLE?
