&lt;p&gt;I now see my confusion. I assumed that any shield would foul the center connector (P20).  The far connector P0.00 thru P0.10 is not quite alligned with the other 4, so I wondered how a sield could plug into that.   Now the answer is quite clear.  Thanks again.
