You need an app that actually tells the smart phone to advertise, it will not do this only by activating Bluetooth. Only when the smart phone advertises the central device will be able to discover it.

I check it with "BLE Central, Peripheral Cheker" and "Ble Scanner" and say that support Bluetooth Smart and Peripheral mode, I have just tried with "Locate Beacon" app using smart phone as beacon and with this, my central nrf51-dk is able to discover it.

My questions is:

If I have a smarth phone that supports Ble tehcnology and I only active Bluetooth (visible), my central nrf51-dk isn´t able to discover?
I will need allways an app similar "Locate Beacon" ?

Are you sure the smart phones aren't finding eachother because of classic Bluetooth and not BLE? What app are you using to enable BLE advertising on the smart phones?

Yes, the smart phones are advertisments because when i active bluetooth in one of them, the others discover this and vicebersa. The smart phones which i´m using are S4 (android v. 4.4.2), thl T6S (android v. 5) and nexux 6 ( (android v. 6.0.1).

Are you saying that the nRF Sniffer and nRF Master Control Panel can't discover the smart phone advertisments? Are you sure that the smart phones are actually advertising? What smart phones are you using? What app(s) are you using on them?

The central should be able to scan advertisments from the smart phones. Are you printing the addresses of the received advertisments? How? Could you include the code?
