It might be that you are hitting PAN issue #6. Check if the HW error event correlates with connection requests, and check the TransmitWindowOffset and channel map. Link to pan document.

We're also sporadically getting this HardwareErrorEvent with the same filename and line number. It happens during advertising, when trying to re-establish a connection to an Android device. The connection was bonded before (encryption enabled).

Can a Nordic engineer please tell us what the error means? In the meantime we will try to capture a trace of the air traffic.

When does this happen? Is it when you are in a connection, while advertising ot while you are in standby mode. Is it possible for you to upload a sniffer trace showing the air traffic when the problem occurs?
