&lt;p&gt;Do you have a BLE stack on your Linux? Is it a new, stable Ubuntu build or as such? This is very unlikely but you might have a BLE module with the Classic stack instead of a BLE stack... &lt;a href="http://www.bluez.org/about/"&gt;http://www.bluez.org/about/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
