 I am using Bluez 5.39 on Ubuntu 14-04 acts a the peripheral by running &amp;quot;example-gatt-server&amp;quot; which creates 3 services and serveral characteristics within it.

&lt;p&gt;I found out that I did not disable BR/EDR settings withing BlueZ. Now I can use NRF master control app to connect on both android 5.x and 6.x version&lt;/p&gt;
