Hello Greg, it's running now with the connection mentioned in my comment from Aug 4' :

ST-LINK:GND -> nRF52:GND

ST-LINK:T_JTCK -> nRF52:SWCLK

ST-LINK:T_JTMS -> nRF52:SWIO

ST-LINK:T_NRST -> nRF52:RESET

ST-LINK:T_SWO -> nRF52:Notconnected

The final point was now, that there was not enough RAM reserved for the programming algorithm by default. I updated the RAM size, and it's running.

I'm using an Olimex JTAG-20-10 converted for my ST-Link V2 programmer. www.olimex.com/.../ARM-JTAG-20-10-schematic.pdf

The connector on my board is a 10 pin connector with SWIO, SWCLK matching up with pins 2 and 4 of the schematic in the link above, which appear to be connected to JTAG pins 7 and 9 (JTAG SWIO and JTAG SW CLK).

It sounds like we have the same setup. You need to use Keil, as ST-Link Utility I believe is only valid on STM micros. Your screen shots above from Keil are identical to mine, except mine shows a target connected.

Hello, yes it's still up to date. Im using a custom board and the ST-Link-chip from ST-Nucleo-board.

I connected the following pins:

ST-LINK:GND -> nRF52:GND

ST-LINK:T_JTCK -> nRF52:SWCLK

ST-LINK:T_JTMS -> nRF52:SWIO

ST-LINK:T_NRST -> nRF52:RESET

ST-LINK:T_SWO -> nRF52:Notconnected

Keil as well as the tool STM32 ST-Link Utility detect the ST-Link-chip, but cannot connect.

The nRF52 is powered and running, of course.

Any suggestions?

I just realized this was June 2016, not June 2017! Do you still have trouble?

I use an ST-Link/V2 with Keil on my nRF52832. I'm using the ARM-JTAG 20 to 10 converter. Are you using a dev board or a custom board? Are you sure your board has power?
