I am designing the prototype using NRF51822 and i have choosen the DC DC power mode but the real problem is most of the time my radio will be sleeping so i just wanted to know how much current the DC DC mode will consume during sleep

RE: off current in DC DC Mode

The DC/DC in itself consumes 300 µA, this is added to the currents consumed found in the specifications.

RE: off current in DC DC Mode

could you please tell me appoximatley how much does it will consume

Please refer to this post. DC/DC mode has a higher current draw in sleep modes than the LDO, hence it is only activated when it achieves better performance, i.e. when the radio is transmitting or under heavy CPU load.

Best regards,
