&lt;p&gt;The nRF52 supports both BLE and proprietary radio standards. To get started with BLE you can have a look at &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/tutorials/2/"&gt;this tutorial&lt;/a&gt; which gets you into the Keil IDE walks you through the UART over BLE example.&lt;/p&gt;
