&lt;p&gt;While nRF52 is probably able to emulate EMV compliant &amp;quot;NFC card emulation&amp;quot; device (rather call it &amp;quot;contactless&amp;quot;) aka &amp;quot;payment card&amp;quot; it almost certainly cannot pass security certifications required. So unless you target some close loop proprietary solution (where you would certify the device + app) it pretty much cannot be used for payment beside some dummy demos.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The nRF52 comes in different package sizes, the smallest is the WL-CSP version. It has the following dimensions:  3.83mm x 3.83mm with a height profile of 0.35mm&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Another benefit with the nRF52 is that it can have BLE support. It means that the data in the chip can be updated over BLE, using a phone for instance.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
