Try this &lt;a href="http://embeddedsoftdev.blogspot.ca/p/ehal-nrf51.html"&gt;blog&lt;/a&gt; for working with Eclipse &amp;amp; GCC with any ARM Cortext-M.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Get precompiled GCC for &lt;a href="https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded"&gt;OSX here&lt;/a&gt;. Extract it into into any folder of your liking then set the path for it in Eclipse preference. As simple as that to get GCC ARM working.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;NOTE: Do not use Neon for now.  The GNU ARM Eclipse Plugin does not currently work with it. If you don&amp;#39;t want or don&amp;#39;t already have homebrew and you just want GCC, you can just download GCC and dump it wherever pleases you. I usually keep a couple of versions around because oddities do sometimes occur.&lt;/p&gt;
