I'm developing something with NFC / BLE handover - it is currently working fine, NFC tag is read by a phone, nrf52 starts advertising and phone then connects to it over BLE.
I just noticed though that if the advertising times out normally with

RE: nrf52 reboots after BLE advertising completes

Ok - after tracing it through a bit more, slow advertising mode wasn't enabled, the handler set the current advertising mode to IDLE - then called the custom handler which put the board into sleep mode which called sleep_mode_enter which had sd_power_system_off(); in it

thanks for that - but on timeout it just tries to move to slow advertising - also it reboots on a ble disconnect - I suspect something isn't initialised correctly, but for the life of me can't find what it is

RE: nrf52 reboots after BLE advertising completes

Look at the BLE event handler function. Here there should be a handler for Advertising Timeout events. I suspect that you should either see a call to reset or system_off.
