Ok, we've solved the missing activity on MISO line. That was due problem with the adapter board. However there's still no good explanation on that extra zero. I tried to see if there's extra clock somewhere, but no.

And to elaborate more, The first zero should be there. The extra zero in the output (not visible in the bus) is the one I'm worried. More urgent is the missing reply even tough there's a clock available from the master.

And to elaborate. The first byte in the picture should be 0x6A, next 0x65, 0x73. And to me it seems OK in the scope image. However in the buffer there's 0x35, 0x32 ,0xb9. So there's one extra zero(only in first byte) read and all the content after that is offset by one.
