My timer handler function is never called.
In main(), right after the existing timers_init() function, I call gsm_init() in

RE: Adding new timers to BLE proximity sample app

This was of course entirely my fault. My call to gsm_init() was happening before ble_stack_init() in main(), so in fact the soft device hadn't been enabled at all at that point. Working just fine now.

RE: Adding new timers to BLE proximity sample app

Yeah, pretty sure the softdevice is being enabled, though I'll check that again. Thanks. Will open a case with the full code once I've had another look.

RE: Adding new timers to BLE proximity sample app

I also can't quite see why this shouldn't work, but I'd be interested in seeing your complete project. If you can't give your complete code here, feel free to create a regular support case for it.

The only thing I can think of is that the app_timer module doesn't start the LFCLK by itself, so if you don't enable the softdevice, no callbacks will be called. However, it doesn't sound as if that's the problem here, since things work when you have the code in main.c.
