Ok now i got more toolchains to choose. should i use ARM GCC(GNUARM/WINARM) ?

Install gnu ARM Plugin for eclispe. http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnuarmeclipse/

Then, check again the toolchains. You should see the right one.

I dont knowwhat toolchain this is, i just treid it but it doesn't work. I hav not the option to choose the arm-none-eabi toolchain, but i have installed it

Toolchain should be arm-none-eabi related. What is XLC/C++ Tool Chain ?

I just tried it with the blinky example. I can flash it and in the properties an building configurations i have now the option to choose debug. Am i right?

I installed the none-eabi toolchain before, but i cant see it in eclipse. I installed in eclipse "CDT Main Features" and "GDB Hardware Debugging" where can i find my cross compiler?

The only one who seems compatible with an ARM compiler on your platform seems cross GCC (but, what is your cross compiler ?)

Try with ARM gnu Eclipse plugin, but first, install gcc-arm-none-eabi toolchain from https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded .

I think there is my mistake, when i load an existing project i did't choose an toolchain. Which toolchain should i use and where can i get your toolchains or a better one?

I'm not using windows, so I'm not able to test what doc nan29 shows.

Which is the ggc-arm-none-eabi toolchain you have installed on windows ?

Try to download ARM gnu plugin for Eclipse, install it an start a new project from there and not from makefile.

You mean when i import a new project to eclipse i have to choose a toolchain?

I have no toolchain of those you telling me, i only installed the things wich are written in nan29.

Try this :

Is the project created using ARM Cross Target Application ?

If so, choose --> Empty Project with the right toolchain.

Based on which type of gcc toolchain you have installed on windows (sic! sorry) choose the right one (GNUARM- Sourcery - Summon - Yagarto - devKitPro).

-->Next, in select configuration, you should see Debug and Release. Both are active... --> Finish.

Ok, have you set Debug as active configuration? (project explore window, click on your active project, right click, ... properties. Goto C/C++ Build.

Check if Debug is active.

Yes, but when i selct this there comes no "debug" in the window, only "User Active" but i need "debug" is it right?

I changed it, what you said but i also can't change the configurations to "debug"

But now the GDB starts and makes errors, i think its better then before ^^.

How can i fix them? Or how can i change to debug.

Hi Nils,

at the bottom of Debug Configurations window, instead of "Using GDB (DSF) ..." select other... and choose : "Using Standard GDB Hardware Debugging Launcher"
