Please take a look at the compatibility matrix for the nRF51, found here. It shows which SDK and SoftDevice versions that are compatible. If you do not know which version you are using, then I recommend downloading the correct SDK from http://developer.nordicsemi.com/

So i have to know how to do it with the zip way as in this link when i use recent SDK ?
Can you please tell me how can i know a way to know the SDK im using in my app ?

Is there any SDK recommanded for SD130 ? It's a little bit confusing for me, how to choose the SDK and even the Softdevice versions

Hi Toto,

Performing a Device Firmware update(DFU) with a hex is the legacy way of updating firmware, applicable for SDK v6.x and older.

You have to create a distribution zip containing the firmware image in order to perform a DFU if you're using SDK v7.x and upwards.
