Another reason might be that project path is too long for keil compiler. See this answer

I've just finished to reinstall all the components : unfortunatelly, I have the same problem. And now, I don't have the folder "Device" in "C:\Keil_v5\ARM". How can I fi this problem of folder please ? I didn't fond anything to help me.

It sounds strange, not sure I can help. When you say you have not been able to fix the problem by using 7zip, does that mean you have not used 7zip or just that it didn't help ? And do you have the same error message than the original post or some other ones ?

I did this right now, but I have the same problem. Do I need to reinstal all the components ? (Keil, Nordic softwares, etc..)

The SDK doesn't need to be in Keil uVision installation directory. Try to create a C:\dev directory and unzip the SDK directly in it.

I tried too unzip it on the desktop, then I dragued the files into : C:\Keil_v5\ARM\Device\SDK11.0.0

Is it correct, or do I made a mistake ?

Did you try to unzip the SDK in a path close to your system root ? By example in C:\dev\

I have the same problem, but I didn't succeed to fix the problem by using 7-zip to unzip the SDK. What can I do to fix this problem please ?

I used to have similar problems too, but after using "long path tool" everything was solved. Try this software and you would be glad you did.

Hi,

This is a known issue with windows when the names get too long. The way to circumvent this is by extracting the SDK by using a zip tool such as 7-zip that supports long paths.
