&lt;p&gt;[i]android-support-v4.jar library is needed to use the LocalBroadcast class.You can find the library in the Android SDK by default at: adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20131030\sdk\extras\android\support\v4&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Where adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20131030 is the folder you get when installing Android SDK.
